Grandma and Granddad Powers Arrive

Grandma and Granddad Powers flew in from VA to meet their first granddaughter. Grandma stayed for all most an entire week helping the three of us out. We miss them dearly!

First Bath

Sophia had her first sponge bath right at the kitchen sink. Everyone helped out. I can't say that she had a great time, but eventually the crying did stop. :)

Grandma Cooksey comes to visit...

Grandma Cooksey stayed with us for a few days after we got home from the hospital. Between Dad and Grandma, Sophia and I were well taken care of. Grandpa Cooksey and Aunt Sara stopped by everyday after work to check on our little girl.

We were very lucky to have family and friends visit us during our stay at Northside. Grandma, Grandpa and Aunt Sara came everyday to check on all three of us and bring us yummy snacks. We even had a slumber party with Aunt Sara one night...thanks Auntie for spending the night with us so daddy could take care of things at home. Belinda, Jes and Ian made specials trips to meet Miss Sophia too.
